On 28 April 2026, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) hosted a Stakeholder Networking Seeding Event at the Central Library of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, in collaboration with the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), within the EXPERT project – Reaching Excellence in Hyperspectral Remote Sensing.
The event brought together a diverse group of participants from academia, public institutions, industry, and end-user communities, all interested in the growing potential of hyperspectral remote sensing. It was a valuable opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and explore possible collaborations.
Throughout the day, experts from ROSA, ASI, and DLR shared insights into current capabilities and ongoing work in hyperspectral data applications, with examples ranging from agriculture and environmental monitoring to cultural heritage and mining. The discussions naturally continued during the roundtable session, where participants contributed their perspectives and highlighted areas for future cooperation.
The presentations will be shared with participants shortly.
